Diane is a graduate from Hornsey College of Art, London in 1981 and worked in London, Belfast and Edinburgh before finally settling in the Borders where she paints full time.  Her work builds on her visual experiences and impressions gathered during her early life in East and Southern Africa.  

The Gallery is proud that her first solo exhibition was in the Ottersburn in November 1996, and she has been a regular exhibitor here ever since.  

Other solo Exhibitions have been in the William Howard Gallery, Brampton, Cree Gallery, Gatehouse of Fleet, and Open Eye Gallery, Edinburgh. Among the group exhibitions in which she has participated have been at Gracefield Arts Centre, Dumfries, the Riverside Gallery, Stonehaven , Flat Cat Gallery, Lauder, Glasgow Art Fair, Affordable Art Fair, London and the Fairbridge Art Exhibition, Lyon and Turnbull, Edinburgh.
