John Crolla
John Crolla is the immediate past-President of the
Dumfries and Galloway Fine Art Society. Once a teacher, he
has given many tutorials in his studio and throughout
Scotland but he is now a full time artist.
John has exhibited at the Royal Scottish Academy, and
featured in joint exhibitions during the Edinburgh
Festival.

exhibitions overseas have been in Miami and New York.
John’s work is inspired by the rural
landscapes of Galloway, evoking the atmosphere of the
countryside with its ever changing light and weather. He
concentrates colour and texture executed in the
Expressionist style. |
