(We live in state of uncertainty but I believe in the destiny of man, in individual liberty, in solidarity and encouragement of those with enquiring minds.)

Was born in Arequipa in 1960 the fourth of seven children and studied at the Escuela Bellas Artes Carlos Baca Flor, Arequipa, Perú. It was following his success that his siblings took up painting.
He has had 25 one man exhibitions in cities throughout Perú. His first International Exhibition was in 1993 at the Galería el sótano Medellín COLOMBIA, which was followed by taking part in “Aspects of Arequipa” in 1995, here in the Ottersburn Gallery. From there his international career has covered the globe, CHINA, THAILAND, USA, CHILE, PANAMÁ., COSTA RICA., MÉXICO, MOROCCO, COLOMBIA., SPAIN. REPUBLICA DOMINICANA.
Among his many Prizes, and Awards were 1982 Primer Premio de diseño Escudo de Quequeña ,1985, 1986 Primer Premio Sur peruano Indelca., 1991 1er. Premio Nacional Michell y Cía: the most prestigious prize for a watercolour painting, 1991 Premio Nacional John Constable.- the most prestigious open prize in the country.
