Ccallo Anco
Born in Arequipa in 1973, he studied at the School of
Decorative Arts of the Universidad Nacional de San Agustín, in
Arequipa, and is becoming almost as “big” a name as brother
Evaristo. Since 1991 he has had four one man exhibitions in
Perú and is making a name for himself on the international
scene:- USA, CHILE, PANAMÁ, COSTA RICA., MÉXICO, COLOMBIA.,
SPAIN, R. DOMINICANA., and for the European Community in
Brussels. Among the prizes that he has won 1994 Primer Premio
en Alianza Francesa – Arequipa, 1995 Primer Premio en el
Concurso Nacional de Pintura Asociación UNÁMONOS and in 2004
Primer Premio Nacional John Constable
