Born in Arequipa in 1958, is the eldest of the surviving siblings and like his sister is self taught.. Mario is rather reticent about his work and his exhibitions. However, we know that he has been taking part in exhibitions throughout Perú since 1989. We also know of two international exhibitions: in 1995, in the Galería de Arte “El Sótano” Medellín Colombia and in 1997, Galería de Arte Balboa Panamá. Perhaps success in Scotland will make him less shy.
