All her work is Pen and Ink
She is a Lao Loum (a person from the lowlands of Lao) but she has developed a great interest in what are known in Laos as the “ethnic minority” groups (Lao Theung and Lao Soung peoples, hill and mountain dwellers respectively). There are more than 60 different tribes living in the Lao hills and mountains and Li is hoping to make a record of their different costumes before they are lost to modernity.
